These companies cover a large spectrum of manufacturing capabil-ities such as the automotive industry, underwater high voltage manufacturing and cable laying as well as advanced defense and marine technology and composite boat building technologies. Other examples are floor coverings with a focus on recycling and industrial scale recycling of textile waste. In addition to these, an extremely well-developed ecosys-tem of both subcontractors and professional service companies exist in Blekinge, all contributing to the competitiveness of the industry.
